CANCELLED - Book Signing with William Kent Krueger

Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

William Kent Krueger has made the difficult decision to cancel all of his in-person book signings due to health and safety issues.  This includes his signing at Turtle Town scheduled for Sept. 4.  However, you can still get a signed copy of his latest Cork  O'Connor series, Lightning Strike, by calling Turtle Town at 218-963-4891.  Only books that are paid for will be signed.

Lightning Strike features a 12-year-old Cork, working with his father to discover the truth behind an apparent suicide of a man he revered.  In the process, Cork learns a lot about his hometown, his family and himself.

Unsigned copies of Lightning Strike will be available as soon as tomorrow, August 24, at Turtle Town.  Signed copies will be available beginning September 4.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.  We thank you for your continued support of Turtle Town Books & Gifts.

Local author, Jim Storm, will lead a historical walking tour of Nisswa in the 40's followed by a book signing

10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 starting at Turtle Town Books and Gifts

Jim spent 6 of his boyhood years living behind his parents' store, H&H Variety (now Lundrigan's).  Join him as he takes you back in time, with a nostalgic Nisswa tour.  The tour will take 1/2 hour and will be followed by a book signing.  Jim's book, Boy from Nisswa, will appeal to longtime Nisswa natives and newer fans alike. It is an honest look at a long and storied life, with both joys and sorrows.
